Rick Propas, known to collectors as The Penguin, tells the story of the pen and of his own time with it. It runs in four parts: the beginning (from 1:35), the evolution of the Pelikan (from 15:44), the present (from 28:20) and new mountains (from 40:19). Rare pens from his collection appear along the way.
The film was made by Lawrence Chiou, with thanks to Franz Dimson, Yuan Niu and Rick himself. Rick's own site is thepenguinpen.com.
Rick wrote for Pentrace too. His four-part Pelikan history starts with Pelikan History Part I, a readable introduction for beginning collectors. The rest of his articles are on his author page.
