I have in my possession only a few pens, so I would not call myself a collector. A pen enthusiast and a penwriter seem more appropriate words. I started writing with a Waterman in college until it was beyond any repair. I currently - a bit older, 34 years to be precise - write alternating with Omas, Montegrappa and Montblanc. Once a Omas Paragon Scarlet celluloid was stolen from me and the theft still bothers me. I now own a Arco brown. American brands are not well known to me. The pentrace website has already taught me a lot.
History (novels too), art (painting esp.) and design (pens in particular of course) fascinate me. My sparetime - what is not filled with working as a consultant, check me on linkedin, and being father (My spouse and 2 kids) - is spent on reading on these topics or drawing and painting. Just a couple of my works are worth showing I guess, the rest deserves to be covered with blankets.
Travelling is also a passion, neglected nowadays due to lack of time. Living in Europe, Belgium, it drove me 5 times to cross the Atlantic and to travel across the North American continent (did a coast to coast !). I visited east and west coast cities, national parcs and the highways in between enjoying nature and the kindness of Americans and Canadians.
