Becky (bunny) Roewert
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri but grew up in El Paso, Texas. I've lived in several different states my favorite was Washington state though. I have four kids, three daughters and a son.
My exposure to fountain pens came via my mother since whe wrote personal letters with them all the time I was growing up. She was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin and even worked at the Parker pen company during WWII. I can remember her always praising Parker pens. I didn't use fountain pens myself though, at least not on purpose until 2004 when I suddenly got the urge to write in a journal feeling a fountain pen would add to the "mystique" for me. I wanted to learn about these types of writing instruments so It wasn't long before I was searching for a message board that focused on them. It's been great fun reading and picking up useful information about this hobby.
My husband, Ray, and I found much in common and have enjoyed our fountain pen interest in a variety of areas from hunting, collecting, using, and restoring them.
