Pentrace Guidelines and Policies
Preserved from the original Pentrace.com site. Offers, contact details, forms and links on this page date from that time and may no longer work.
Welcome to Pentrace.com! Pentrace is one of the world's leading websites offering pen discussion, information, news, and education. Please note that while Pentrace covers a broad range of subjects, not every pen-related topic is appropriate for this site, and we ask that visitors familiarize themselves with the following Guidelines before using the site.
1. Always be considerate of others. Inappropriate posts will be removed.
2. Always use the same screen name and do not impersonate others.
3. Do not collect e-mail addresses or post personal information about people, or send anyone upsetting e-mail or spam.
4. Do not buy, sell, advertise, or promote except as allowed on the PenMarket Board. If you have items for sale on the PenMarket Board, do not discuss or post images of items on the discussion forums.
5. Please do not post references to your own auctions on either the main board or the PenMarket board. Posts directed to auctions that will help educate, illustrate, or amuse others are permitted.
6. Do not post links to or URLs for web pages where pens or related items are offered for sale, or to websites offering pen discussion. Do not post links to or URLs for sites where replica or counterfeit goods are sold. Links to pages that contain pen reference material is permitted. "Information, not promotion."
7. Please do not bring outside disputes into the forums.
8. Trolls, shills, and disruptive visitors are not welcome, and their posts will be removed.
9. Please observe any additional guidelines on each board, as those are considered part of the Pentrace Guidelines and User Agreement.
